Questions people ask before they book
How does the 24-hour quote work?
Send us your suburb and postcode, what’s in the boxes and, ideally, a photo or a screenshot of your order. We check the items, quantities and access and reply with your quote within 24 hours. There’s no obligation.
What do you need from me to quote?
Three things: where you are (suburb and postcode), what needs assembling (product names, article numbers or links, with quantities) and whether the items are new in the box, partly assembled or need dismantling. A screenshot of your IKEA order covers most of it.
Do I need to have any tools?
No. Our assemblers bring every tool and piece of equipment the job needs, including what’s required to anchor furniture to the wall.
Do you only assemble IKEA furniture?
No — IKEA first, and flatpack furniture from Fantastic Furniture, Officeworks, Bunnings, Harvey Norman, Amart, Kmart, Temple & Webster and other online stores.
Will you anchor tall furniture to the wall?
Yes. Bookcases, wardrobes and chests of drawers are fixed to the wall wherever the manufacturer’s instructions require it. If you know your wall type (plasterboard, brick, stud), mention it in the quote form.
What happens to the packaging?
We flatten and tidy the cardboard and packaging before we leave. If you’d like it taken away, tick “Packaging removal” in the quote form and we’ll include it in your quote.
Can you come on a weekend or after hours?
Tell us your preferred days and times in the quote form and we’ll confirm availability with your quote. Bookings are often same or next day, subject to availability.
Do you work with businesses?
Yes. Offices, shops and rentals: desks, shelving, storage and workstations, assembled and anchored to suit the space.
